Bush to petition the NFL to keep No. 5 Sun, 30 Apr 2006 22:20:53 -0700 Les East, of the Advocate, reports New Orleans Saints rookie RB Reggie Bush will petition the NFL this week to allow him to wear No. 5, which he wore at USC. NFL rules restrict running backs to numbers 20-49. Currently, Saints QB Adrian McPherson wears No. 5.
