RE: Re: Eventually
The only way Duece gets traded is if he wants it. He would have to be willing to restructure his contract to make it happen.
Personally I think keeping him is a good idea. |

Running backs have a short shelf life especially when they are forced to carry the whole load...now of course there are exceptions to the rule but what i am saying is that Deuce and Reggie need each other. Ankle sprains are gonna happen. Ligaments will get torn. Legs will get worn down. Their bodies will be beat up. The two of them being able to spell each other will prolong their pro careers dramatically. Aren't you tired of having Lamar Smith, Antowain Smith, Curtis Keaton, Ki-Jana Carter, Aaron Stecker, or any other one of the countless has beens running the ball for the Saints...now we wont have the problem for the forseeable future. Take it for what it is...a blessing.

If you were a Saints hater the last few years you'll really hate us from now on because we'll be beating teams you love.
Go ahead and hate, it won't bother Saints fans.. |

This topic is stupid, we are not trading duece anytime soon, nor should we. We had alot of cap room when the offseason started and even more since we didn't resign some big money guys like Bentley and replaced them with guys on a B level instead of an A level but making D level money.. We're in great shape for atleast two to three years with the cap. This isnt SanFran or Atlanta.

I said this once in about.com forums, but I will say it here. When Brees gets his arm, we will witnesss the GREATEST SHOW ON TURF Paret 2. But we have the added demension of Deuce, so more Faulk (Bush) outside on the WR/slot. This will be really good, I can't wait to see it. (I know the o line wil be key question, just shut up and let me enjoy the moment )
