this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'd hate to lose him this soon. I feel like this guy can add so much to our offense and special teams. I, like some, would rather lose Stecker, I like him but if Bennett can stay healthy I think ...

I'd hate to lose him this soon. I feel like this guy can add so much to our offense and special teams. I, like some, would rather lose Stecker, I like him but if Bennett can stay healthy I think his upside is better. A healthy Deuce,a healthy Bennett and Bush, it just don't get no better than that!

Looking like it might be either Houston or Miami... Interesting quote from the story "There would certainly be some irony if Bennett were dealt to the Texans, who passed on Bush with the first overall pick in the draft, and selected defensive end Mario Williams instead." The fans in Houston are nuts over not picking Bush. Gotta figure this played some part in the "resignation" of the GM... I'd be interested to know the player the Texans "dangled" in exchange for Bennett... Who are some injury prone Safteys on the Texans??? |

What good does Bennett's upside do the Saints? No matter how high it is, he has no role with Deuce and Bush...not here anyway...get rid of him and get something in return.
