this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; If I remember correctly, EATEL is the one that was in charge of the website. As far as I know, they are still in business....

oldies- not a lot of folks know screamin' jay muchless are fans... most kewl. tab benoit has probably my fav version of that song.
somebody should get severely reprimanded if not fired over such a blunder as letting the site reg. expire! there are a lot of people out there bidding on it if they do not have some first right of renewal clause. really really unprofessional! |

Looks like a few web prospectors are panning for domain-name gold. |

RE: Don
In the early stages of the internet, people have made fortunes buying domain names for little and selling them to companies for huge amounts of money. It's a genius idea, but now-a-days there are some regulations. Plus, now that the average public knows about it, it's very hard to take up the scheme yourself and make good money with it.
And, LKelley67, thanks. I am (as my screen name suggests) an Oldies music discjockey. So, I've been exposed to a lot of rare stuff. Screamin' Jay Hawkins always struck a chord with me, though. He was such an oddball. Legend has it, he fathered 57 children around the globe. |

"Cyber-squatting" was quashed long time ago when the courts ruled it infringes trademark and copyright laws.
"The New Orleans Saints" is a trademark of the NFL. You try to buy www.neworleanssaints.com and sell it to the NFL, expect a huge trademark and copyright infringement law suit. |
