If Edwards was 4 years younger, a Stallworth trade would make sense. Watson is probably not going to be on the team unless we can't get rid of him. Johnson is not Stallworth. I can see Johnson competeing for the 2 or 3 spot since Horn is getting older. We aren't in great need at LB anymore so we don't have to get rid of solid players for unproductive upside players or old players. Edwards would be great for our team, but he's about to crest the hill like Seau did a few years ago.

I HATE the idea Donte traded for Edward. Don't get me wrong I think Edward will fit well for us but to trade a 5yr vet for a 11yr vet isn't a move in the right direction for the future of this team. With a little more time or possible this yr Donte will be the #1 WR to take the place for aging Joe Horn. I am satisfied with already moves @ lbs. I hope they don't make another hole in another position for over compensating for lbs position.

Not to big on Donte here, but I think we should hang on to him for one more year and see if the new system will benefit him

sorry whoodi they are the same. they both look really good racing down the field, to correct the bad route running they did only to drop it in the end.
Stallworth would not be on the field with new england. Bethal would put the same numbers up the saints stallworth has. Face it our WR are all hype. Joe is the only one we have had and he is not a number one reciever on most elite teams in the NFL. That is why we have so many in camp. AB suxed but all the drops were not his fault. Donte should wear a skirt on the field. hit him once and you own him. sorry ladies it is an old saying. nothing personal. |

I think with a new QB that will hit the target and not the dirt could make almost all our receivers pro bowl candidates. But we will see.
