i dont see how lelie would be an improvement over stallworth.
money wouldnt be an issue because both are going to have to get new contracts next year (as stated before) and stallworth has shown better play with not as good of a qb throwing to him |

But you are getting a WR that probly wont stay. So what. Donte may not stay if we keep him after the year. Denver will at least get some thing and they are not stupid enough to pull a Bentley move like us. I am not infavor of the swap if we just swap WR in the deal. there is no real upgrade in it for us. |

I like the fact that the Saints are staying busy in the slow time of season. It is making things interesting when normally i would be forced to watch something else...but sooner or later, assuming these trade rumors come to fruitition, we are going to have to start getting some players in here at positions that are needs...we need an OT...we need a CB...and we need a DT.
No more WR's, RB's, S's, TE's...lets go on ahead and start filling needs since we didnt exactly do it in the draft. |
