Molden to Redskins

Could this be to protect when they decide to trade or cut Smoot? Just a possibility.

Either way it goes for the Skins, it\'s a step DOWN. Molden sucked witht he Saints, he sucked with the Chargers, and now he\'s going to suck with the Redskins. I have a feeling before long that the District of Columbia is going to bring together a lynch mob for Dan Snyder and Steve Spurrier.

Cooky, I have to agree with D_it_up on this one. I don\'t really think this will have much affect on the Redskins getting rid of Smoot. Molden didn\'t impress me either when he was here. Maybe they picked him up for depth.

It was just a thought. Sometime a team will take a chance on a unproven player or one that has really sucked in the past, in hopes of trying to make him live up to his potential. e.i. Well I think that says enough. Not saying that the Redskins are using him to replace Smoot, but they could.

Cutting Smoot is CRAZY. There is not way they will cut him June 1st... thats like saying the Saints are going to cut Stallworth our last years number one pick. Grady Jackson to Washington for Fred Smoot??? I doubt it.

i live in the dc area and there is talk of smoot being traded
the talk among fans here is mixed but on average 3 out of 5 people i talk to would like to trade smoot for varying reasons, i think they\'re crazy and would love to have him in new orleans, don\'t be surprised if he is traded/cut, snyder is an idiot, you would think he would have learned his lesson about stockpiling a bunch of free agents in an attempt to win, remember when he grabbed sanders smith and all those other vets in the late 90\'s?
