. Quick release
. Great in the pocket . Strong arm throwing across the field . Great sight . Leader . Proven winner . Good long ball . Will carry this IMO Brees will prove he was the right QB for N.O, I've been a fan of the Saints since 77' and never felt this way about a player as I do about Brees. If our OL comes together & protects Brees we will have a team that can win a lot of games this season. I haven't been this excited about the Saints since the "Dome Patrol" years. |

1. Intelligence 2. Intangibles 3. Reads defenses 4. Takes responsibility 5. Has a "me-last" attitude 6. He is only interested in winning 7. Has a track record of having to prove himself at every level for his entire career. Nobody's ever given this kid anything and he has a long history of success.

In my opinion until proven otherwise our offensive line has the ability to be solid. I think these guys are all talented athletes. They woul not be there if they were not. I think a player plays at the level that he is coached. Haslet took over a Saint team that was on the rebound won a playoff game and then ran it into the ground. Seemed to me over that last few years that our players were very undisiplined and confused on the field. This is a direct reflection of coaching and leadership. If this coaching staff is the real deal Drew will benifit from a well disaplined offensive line that will protect him. As for his charater his story tells it all. An underdog playing with an underdog team. Seems like he has constantly used that chip on his shoulder to get to the next level. Lets just hope that his attitude is contagious in the locker room.

While I dont blame Brooks because like I said a player will play at the level that he is coached he will play the game at the level that he practiced. There needs to be a no noncence approach to practice and player development. Thats the only way that we can be sucessful.

Brees is better than Brooks because he has an IQ higher than that of a jar of pickles.

"he wont lock on one WR "
That alone will make a huge difference in our offense. How big a part will Mike Hass have in the offense? |

He won't have time to lock on to one WR. Behind the Saints OL he will get killed before he gets the snap.
Trust me, with our OL, by mid season, you guys will be wishing for Brooks again. |
