amac is physically gifted and when he puts it all together will be a very good qb.... when will that be though? this year? next? never? no one really knows... we're all hoping over here that he becomes the john elway arm/mike vick legs qb we were promised when we drafted him, but no one knows.... he may never get to that level... for the record, i love the kid and even if he never takes a snap as a starting qb in this league, i am so proud of how far he has come.... not as a football player, but a mature, smart, good decision making man, who has overcome adversity and stayed straight in a city with lots of temptation... alot can be said of amac even if he's not the savior of the saints.... he a man in my book...

RE: Re: RE: Do the Saints Need Another QB?
I watched Mroz play against Princeton, and while the Tigers sucked, they made this guy look like he was playing in slow motion. He could barely hit the ground with a running start. And I'm not biased simply because he's a Yalie. If it weren't for Princeton losing 5 interceptions and 2 fumbles, his offense would have had nothing to show for itself attacking the worst defense in the league.
Forget him. |

I feel bad for the Chargers and I lost a little respect for Seau now. Seau announces his retirement and put the Chargers thru a dog-and-pony show to celebrate it and then he turns around and signs with another AFC team. Why didn't the Seau hold off on making his decision until he was certain no contenders wanting to sign him?
I have no problem w/ him chasing a ring, but man be decisive about what your intentions are. Sounds like a bad case of Jordan-itis. |
