N.O. is in a very enviable position with two Probowl caliber backs as starters. Sure, Duece is aging and still recovering from injuries that have sidelined him in the past, but he is still number one in my book. He has earned that status by proving himself on the field in the NFL year after year.
Reggie, on the other hand, has to go out there and prove to the SAINTS and the rest of the NFL that he can do what he is predicted to be able to do -- be a # 1. And I sincerely hope he does. I see Reggie attracting the lion's share of the attention form the medai and the SAINTS' opponents, which makes it both tougher on him and potentially a little easier on Duece this season. Because of that, I think Duece should have a pretty good year. But in the long run, I see Duece easing into retirement in a few years with Reggie firmly planted as the star. But Duece isn't going anywhere just yet. He still has some good playing time left and by having both players at the same time, both have a chance to be the best they can be. |
Go SAINTS!!!!!

I hear you guys talking a lot about Stallworth lately. Just a gut feeling but I think there's a better than average chance he'll be traded. I tell you, these recievers in camp look good. Real good! Stallworth might become expendable, and we need to many things on the offensive line and at linebacker to not be open to trade. I haven't heard anything but this is my gut feeling.

Reegie is a finesse back..Walter Payton ran like he wanted to kill you with his forearms and leg drive. Reggie is a corvetee and makes you miss. Walter was more like a Hummer !!
