Saints look at Offensive tackle.....
The Saints had a look at Mississippi native Todd Wade today according to WLBT tv here in Jackson. He's listed at 6'8",314 lbs. His last team was the Texans. It's reported he started every game since he came into the league until a knee injury ended his season last year. Coach Payton was quiet lipped about the look see. saying only that Wade went through a physical and about a 15 minute workout. he did not say anything on whether Wade would be signed or not. stay tuned.

RE: Saints look at Offensive tackle.....
I think Todd can be an ok OL with the right coaching staff around him, we may have to gamble on him right now, we really need help...
Todd had better success when he played four years with the Dolphins, as for when he played for the Texans the entire line was bad and IMO not coached correctly... I think this would be a good signing if he and the Saints can come to terms.. Pro..."tremendous drive blocker with good feet", good size at 6'8 314 lbs ... Hell, sign Todd |

I'm hearing that he has more offers than just the Saints. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe that'aa why payton wouldn't comment. He did look good on the news over here. He's big but not fat. If fat was what they needed hell they could pay me!

Am I the only one that sees an issue with this? I mean seriously, I know he was injured, but he started every game for a team that has had arguably the worst line in the league every year since its inception. And this could be an upgrade? I can see now I'm going to have my head in my hands because of this Oline many times this season.

I don't know if he is an upgrade, over the correct players or not. But he may provide depth.

The Texans have a page on him here:
http://www.houstontexans.com/team/ro...l.php?PRKey=71 Sure sounds like an upgrade if he's healthy. SFIAH |
