Saints D making a stand?
A Snippet from wwl.com:
“GO LIVE At the end of the practice, both the offense and defense were working on goal line plays. The ball was placed at the three yard line and after a few snaps that were “sluggish according to head coach Sean Payton, he issued the order to “go live, meaning the drill was now full contact. The defense after being beaten in most of the snaps at the start of the drill, then proceeded to stop the Saints offense 7 straight times and ended with a “ you’re not going anywhere hit on Reggie Bush. The foghorn then sounded and practice was over. I don't know whether to jump for joy because the D stepped it up, or sulk b/c the Oline probably sucked. |

RE: Saints D making a stand?
I'm liking the D play. Not that you can take anything out of 7 plays that they'd seen a few dozen times. I like that the D is taking the attitude that Bush can embarrass other D's, but not them. If you can stop Bush, you can put a hurt on any other running game. (assuming O-Lines are comparable....)
