Saints | Stallworth's job not secure
Mon, 14 Aug 2006 18:24:19 -0700

The Associated Press reports New Orleans Saints WR Donte' Stallworth has not secured a spot on the team's roster. A shoulder injury and a groin pull have kept him off the practice field until late last week. Head coach Sean Payton said he will not go on someone's word, he has to see the player. Stallworth is not really worried about his future and said, "I've made some plays here and there."

RE: Stallworth

Dallas could be interested with T.O. being hurt, but if Payton deosnt like him, then parcells probably wont either.

I think he could have a big year. But if he is in the doghouse that bad and has to go, so be it. I only hope they get some value in return versus a complete loss like Dwight Smith.

I would rather trade him for a defensive tackle.

Atlanta? I am betting west coast. He is from Sacramento. We know Payton is no nonsense and wants great team players. Donte has a real My Space page. He definitely portrays himself as a what I can only describe as a jive ass playah.
