Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the New Orleans Saints are looking to acquire San Diego Chargers LB Donnie Edwards. The team is offering a second-day draft pick.

Whenever the day comes when the Chargers decide they are going to trade edwards, we are going to get him...there isnt a doubt in my mind...Edwards will either play for the Chargers or the Saints...it all depends on whether or not they decide to move him.

If the team feels they need him, then I hope they get him. I just hope it happens or not, because I am tired of hearing about it.

i read some where that the gaints have interest and johnny morton is their bait.
he wont be playing saturday either. that now 2+ weeks out of action

Do it now....He may only have two good years left, but that is two years that we can retool that area and others. Especially if it is for a second day pick.

One of my friends told me that we are offering a 2nd day pick, but the Chargers want a 1st day pick. I think he saw this on another website.
