Watching the game in Minnesota
From watching the game last night up here, I made some observations about the team :
1)OL Right now, our Oline worries me. JB looks like he'll settle into the LT spot & Faine looks solid, but the rest of the line looks like a train wreck. I still think Jon Stinchcomb should be moved to guard & a RT be added at some point. Jahri Evans did NOT look like he belonged on the starting front five. 2)DL At this point, DT is our biggest liability on D. I think if our Dline played better our LBs would be better ... 3)LB This team sorely needs a MLB AND another OLB. Where they come from, who knows ... 4)Payton's offense Why aren't the TE's being utilized more ?? Joe Horn looks like he's gonna return to Pro Bowl form & Donte' looks like he'll be our #2 - for now. Gotta love the Colston kid, even if he is a 7th rounder ... the rest of the receivers are ... eh ... where was Haas last night ??? 5)Give em time Payton's gotta lot of players to sort through and anyone expecting miracles this season is off their rocker, yet. It's gonna take this season just to establish Payton's team and go from there ... |
I\'m not crazy - I\'m just \"maladjusted\" ...

RE: Watching the game in Minnesota
Just wanted to add that even though the loss was highly disappointing, you gotta know the vanilla stuff will go out the window come opening day ... I see potential with this team this year but NOT playoffs - yet ...

RE: Watching the game in Minnesota
Seriously, where was Hass? Did he even play? Did anyone throw a pass his way? If he doesn't make the team I am going to be pissed especially if Devery "Stonehands" Henderson does.
