ROFL
Well, I remember thinking we sucked that season, and then they made history. Blake did well for us before he went down that season, Brees has to be at least as good. |

I can see what you are saying.
But the usual suspects may show up and being in a surly mood..... Who could blame? I dig the optimism though. I am a SUNSHINER at heart! GO SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I remember a preseason where Heath Shuler tore it up.
He should've retired before the 1st regular season game. |

First team offense will be ok. Brees made some good throws and looks to be recovered. THey had some opportunities that they just failed to convert on. They will be fine.., ....but good lord in heaven........I could run through that defense....backwards...hopping on one leg. The thing about it is this. We will hopefully see some cohesiveness between these guys as the season progresses. There are some new faces in positions, and sometimes that in itself takes some time to become synchronized. I cannot believe that McKenzie is a bad player; he was there on that one reception, and the Dallas receivers made some great catches. BUT...did you see the 50 yard cushions that our DB's gave to the second and third string receivers. We need some corners that will get up in the face of these receivers and physically control them. I believe that along with linebacker will be our greatest hunt come next years draft. But until then, can we get Deon "Prime Toe" Sanders to come out of retirement???? He played for every other team, why not ours? Or heck Darrel Green; sure he is 50, but he can probably still outrun 3/4's of the receivers in the league. We can even give them a nickname..the "Colostomy Corners"........their motto, would be.."Don't bag on our age, cause we'll S*&^ you down", or something like that.... Ok, i know that was bad, but I cannot even show up at work tomorrow w/o these lousy Cowboy fans rubbing it in my face......oh the agony.....
