Do not fret.......yet.
If defense wins games, we are in for a long season. But I am going to wait and see what happens here.
The Saints were thrown under the bus on this one, but it is still preseason. Complain all you want, but I hold my judgement for this team until week 5. Bottom line is this: The defense could really use a good linebacker and the offense needs to execute better in the red zone. The 3 and outs are killing this team. One thing is for sure, much like old Saints teams.....if the offense dosen't stay on the field long enough and execute well in the red zone, we are toast. We have to look at this team as a work in progress growing from a terrible season. Have no fear Saints fans, the Saints will be great. All we can deduce from this season is hopes for next. It is simply a trial year for a new coach that I really believe in. I can assure you that the Saints will improve this year, perhaps not up to our expectations, but they will. |

I just hope no one blames Aaron, Jim, Rick, Courtney, Wayne, and Johnathan for this game.

Bucs and Bears went from top 5 draft picks to division winners last year. With NFL parity ya never know. I'm hopeful to the end. Assessment thusfar, particularly the defense which looks unimproved, makes 6 or 7 wins a worthy goal for a succesful season.

I'll say something. Trade some of those safeties for a friggin' cornerback! Hell, trade Stallworth if you have to.
I was impressed with the team's run defense. They may not be able to keep up that kind of performance in every game, but it is still light years better than last season. The offense will be fine this season. Any struggles they are experiencing right now I would attribute to the situation at the right side of the offensive line. Frankly, I think they are better off starting the rookies. |

I am a saints fan..... I do not fret......there is always next year, I like the building blocks we added and subtracted. I say we already have a winning season team wise compaired to the team we had last year. I really like Payton and what he has done. he is teaching all of us a thing or 2. Go for it on 4th down, baby. I love it. that is what preason is for. Last half of the season will tell us alot about this team.
I do not FRET....I just drink more |

Why fret???
We all know everything is totally new, you can't just go from 3-13 to a SB team without working on some things... On that Stall trade thing, I'm starting to like it, DH and Colston could very well split time at #2...Dh played way better this game, and Colston is one of the biggest surprises, he has speed too Kepp Hass at three and we won't be that bad, with Jones at 5 and one of the others at 6 We could trade him to either Minnny, Dallas, Eagles, or another team for a corner and a pick Minny-Cedric Griffin and a 4th rounder; Or Smoot and a 3rd rounder Dallas-Newman; or Bradie James Philly-Try to get Brown; or Hood with a 3rd rounder; Lewis can pla both positions Seahwaks are looking for a reciver, too |
