this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I like how Colston plays, and I hope that he, Donte', and Devery are the top three WRs one day. But Donte' goes up against #1 defenses, for the most part. While Colston goes up against #2 defenses, for the ...

Moot point now wouldn't you say? The man had ample opportunity to prove himself. The Coach doesn't like him. He was seen leaving MSY tonight. Good luck in your future endeavors Donte'. I hear Philly cops don't enjoy being asked if they know who you are. p.s. invest in STICKUM! |

I hope Donte' does well with the Eagles. Drew Brees threw two ints in that last game, so I assume he is a moron also. I know he will not be called that on here. I wonder why?

Where was is that Donte was called a moron? Intelligence wasn't the issue (although a UTer LOL). Attitude was something questioned between the ears. The "who I am" in the Bentley and a cursory check of his myspace page leads me to have an idea how he was the wrong kind of "playah" for Payton. Bottomline though was simply the hands. Speed to spare and he made progress with the injury bug. NFL history is scattered with potential that was never fully realized.

I had not seen this Drew Brees quote on Colston-
“He’s been playing great. He gets better every day, Brees said. “Those are the kind of guys we want on this team  guys that come in and work their tail off and end up fitting into a role on this team, which he’s going to do. He’s going to end up getting a lot of opportunities, which he deserves. ... Just look at the guy. He’s a big target, physical, catches the ball very well. He knows what to do. He’s smart. What can I say? The guy deserves it. http://www.shreveporttimes.com/apps/...608290314/1001 |
