Stallworth is better than Colston

I like how Colston plays, and I hope that he, Donte', and Devery are the top three WRs one day. But Donte' goes up against #1 defenses, for the most part. While Colston goes up against #2 defenses, for the most part. If you swiched them, Donte' would make those defenses look bad, and Colston would not do very well going against the other one. Let's give this guy a chance to get better before, you start calling for him to start, when he hasn't even played a regular season game. The coaches know what to do.

RE: Stallworth is better than Colston

1st of all.....Donte's problem has always been inconsistency. That's the dilemna. I've seen way too many juggled & dropped balls from the speedster. Grant it....he did have a moron for a QB the last few years. So...throughout practice & the 1st 3 games Colston has shined on the 1st team (& the 2nd team for that matter. Brees overthrew him for one easy TD in the 1st quarter of game one, & he was wide open without a look against Dallas in the 1st half. The difference in the two is that if it's a catchable ball in Colston's direction, he's coming down with it! Donte can out run just about anyone on the field, but he's got to catch the ball 1st (not something he's consistent at). Also....his attitude seems to have him in Payton's dog house, so if he gets traded.....we've got a guy that can take over the #2 spot & make plays.

P.S.-Never start a thread about one player being better than another. It tends to come back around & bite you in the a**. Comparing these two receivers in particular will be an example. Colston is the real deal since day one. Stallworth, while I like, is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna' get!

Yeah, well................. It didn't help that I had to pick up my kids yesterday when my wife got sick & missed our little fantasy draft. Needless to say, I got 3 stud QB's & no RB's. Thanks honey.....that really set up my fantasy team for the year. By the way.....anyone need Tom Brady for a QB. Offer decent starting RB's & it's on!!!!!!!!

Yeah, well........ I was suposed to be there for the draft, but my wife decided to get sick. Needless to say, I came back home at around the 14th round to see I picked Manning in the 1st (which was o.k. since I had like the 10th pick). But then.....I saw I picked Brady in the 2nd? WTF? Bad part is I had set up my player list in case something like that did happen, but FoxSports obviously didn't save it. Oh well.....I guess I'm skimming the waiver wire for RB's.

Yeah foxsports did something screwy with the draft order too. I set it to random, and it said the order would be set 30 minutes prior to the draft. Well, the order didn't change for what it had been all along. I tried to change it since the draft hadn't started, no dice, I woulda had to delete the league. And THEN in a normal draft, you can Q up players for you to pick. Well in foxsports, if you queue a player it picks them right then and there. So frustrating. But it was still fun.

I don't think Devery out played Bethel Johnson, if I had to cut one of them today I'll cut Devery. They are both the same size with the same potential however Devery bobble or drop the ball to much.

Stallworth is better than Colston
And that my friend is precisely why we traded Stallworth to the Eagles & kept Colston.

Please feel free to dog on my boy some more. That is why I said this earlier:
