All i hope is for bress to progress. just once I want to see himm hit the swing pass just right to a back out of the backfield. OL is coming around . The D is still a work in progess so i do not expect much except swarm tackling. that would be nice |

how bout turn this into 'What Did You See?' particulary from anyone that posted in this thread...
me- Not any big Reggie or deuce flash but they both looked good. It is fun watching Bush navigate through traffic. On NFL Live afterwards they said this, "He like barry Sanders is a guy that you will get for a loss a few times when he changing course, etc. BUT after every 3 or 4 of those he will pop one for 20, 40, or 60 yds." I thought it was a very accurate take. I really believe they are hiding the plays with Deuce and Bush in the same backfield until regular season. Brees looked WAY sharper Bouman sucked as I hoped. Bad for showcasing but good for making sure he is gone. Branch- I'm saying Wow! about this guy I think that was perhaps the most impressive catch i have ever seen Devery make. It is like the light bulb came on and he can now use his hands. I missed a chunk of the 2nd half and didn't get a read on Hass. Anyone? O-Line seems to have come a looong ways. Not great by any means, but not dreadful like the start. Joseph? I dunno Hilton's dad posts on SR. Everyone there is telling him bye and knows he will catch on somewhere else. I didn't notice Ninkovich long snapping but he was again very visible and disruptive on D. Job earned. QB pressure improved, still should be more tho. I think we will see a lot of blitzing once the real games start. LBs have turned into some good competition. Bockwoldt out IMO. Melton special teams okay but sucks otherwise. I don't remember any negative Mckenzie plays. Phillips over Lay IMO. Heck, over Craft if I was choosing. I dunno, I hope they are seriously considering calling Hughes up and saying "Uh, I think we made the wrong choice." |
