this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't usually do predictions but what the heck? Browns negatives: Untested QB, garden variety o-line, old defense. Browns positives: Above average RB and WR/TE's, home field advantage. ummmm..... 21-17 Saints. I'm a homer, what can I say?...

Pressure on Charlie = We win
Charlie has time to throw to the receivers = We lose It's that simple. We have to rattle him often and early. |

The keys to the game are the same things you have been hearing Payton say ever since he got here. No stupid penalties...no stupid turnovers...and make a couple big plays. If the Saints can come into the game and actually execute their gameplan...i say they win 31-13. If they show up and turn the ball over, and commit 12 penalties, then they get their butts handed to them. I will predict it will be somewhere in between and say Saints 24....Browns 17.

It is one that could truly go either way very easily, whether nailbiter or runaway. Win or lose I am looking for more creative schemes and execution minus all the Haz era mistakes. I'm shooting for 2-0 into the dome and become the feel good story of the year at 3-0. So, let's try 24-17 Saints.

Here is my prediction.........The offense starts off slow driving the ball down their throats.......7-3 Browns at half time due to a long passing TD. By the middle of the third quarter the Browns D will be too tired and Duece and Bush will be able to crack a long TD run each.... Brees throws on to Colston in the fourth and the Saints win 24-10

I liked one fantasy tip I read, went like- Brees shoulder isn't ailing but Cleveland's defensive backfield is. Look for big numbers in that match up.
