Whoa... Evans is going to contribute earlier than I expected. Figured he was going to move inside when he was drafted but I thought he was going to be a project. He definately gets a cookie.
Bullocks free lancing while Harper helps in run supports... I like that. So much for the Stoutmire/Bellamy starting bs we've heard during minicamp... who did they think they were fooling. |

RE: Give these rookies some cookies
While it's nice to see some rookies crack the line up instead of being depth players, this is kind of a scary thought to have 2 very green safeties backing up 2 shaky CB's. Hopefully we add a solid CB next year and well see them all grow as a unit.

i think holland is slated for left guard. don't ask me how, but Lindy's has holland rated 9th at left guard in the nfl. mayberry, i haven't heard a word on since preseason started.

Mayberry is in jeopardy of being cut
Evans has learned the game quickly and has played well, hopefully Holland can stay healthy 4 us, then we wont seem that bad Harper definitely needs a cookie, he can make plays, sorta like a young Dawkins or Harrison to me, and Bullocks is a young Blaine Bishop or Woodson |

With how well Ninkovich has looked, it didn't make sense to keep Bockwoldt. If we switch to a 3-4 next year, I think Nink would be great in that D.
I'll be a little ticked if Branch gets cut and Craft gets to stay. I just hope that the guys that Payton likes have to keep proving themselves, unlike Haz where they got free passes once they made it into the inner circle. |
