I think Payton has proven that he is not going to sit on any weaknesses...he is going to try and go out and get someone that can improve the team.

Did Payton officially give up for this year? Are they trying to make attendance dwindle out by the end of the season?
What specifically has you confused? Just because certain players performed well with the second and third teams doesn't get them on the squad. I think everyone here was rooting for Hass to make the squad. I'm' sure Payton is planning to bring a lot of these guys back for the practice squad. You guys may not like Bouman, but obviously he has a better grasp on things than McPherson does, which unfortunately isn't saying much.

Why don't we let our team play a regular season game before all of "the sky is falling" talk starts. There will almost certainly be wheelings and dealings before the week 6 trade deadline.

He doesn't have a better grasp than faster, accurate, poised Omar Jacobs

I hope they get Lay to the PS, he really played better than Phillips and Craft in my opinion

Ghandi, why get rid of better Moore than not git rid of non-catching, fumbling Bethel....In my opinion, keep Moore and give Bethel the boot

You got me, bro. I guess Bethel being a vet helped his cause. I definately don't like the Stecker over Branch thing, though. Branch seems to have more speed & better vision than Stecker. Again.....it looks like one of those vet over rookie things. I look for alot of signings here in the next week on both sides of the ball. Their are some CB's, DT's, & OL that were cut from other teams that would be upgrades on our roster. This coaching staff seems to have some intelligence, so I definately think moves will be made soon.
