Drew Brees

I'm so glad Brees ended up on NO. I understood SD'd dilema, but how do you let him go? Not only is he a good player but he's a stand up guy. I'm sure he will support the city since he continues to support Lafayette (Purdue).

I'm organizing a charity auction for a Lafayette Indiana non-profit organization, the Community & Family Resource Center. (www.cfrc.org) on 11/3/06. I anticipate having a Drew Brees Autographed Jersey for the auction. If anyone would like to arrange to bid on it respond to the post and we can figure out how to make that happen.

RE: Drew Brees

IMO he's better than Brooks, that's a huge understatement I know but had to say it.
I look at him as the leader of his team and that's saying a lot being he's only been with us a short time.
Great pose in the pocket and sees the field really good, his shoulder is fine as we know, he's proved that..

He is the anti-AB...He did not light up the scoreboard on Sunday but he did something very important...He played to win when the chips were down and did not make bone head plays to cost us the game....He also did not throw to Stinchcomb or anyone else on the line...

Did anyone else hear the Reggie stats for 3rd downs by the commentars...I cant remember them now but my jaw hit the ground when they gave them...

Leading team 3rd down reciever & leader rookie reciever of total receptions. Two interesting stats, and ones not likely to change as the season continues.
