Are we drunk with the Saints' success?

Why does the board seem slow? I figured that B&G.net would be lit up like a Christmas tree by now. The Saints are well past the halfway pole of my successful season prediction before week 1. They have guaranteed at least a split with 2 of the 3 division foes and have beaten both of the 4th place teams from last year. With the NFC East looking like worldbeaters one week and the Little Sisters of the Poor the next, it's likely that the Saints can gain a split with that division. That along with the potential to sweep the Bucs and Falcons, getting the Panthers at home, and getting at least one of the three remaining games from the AFC North, and this season is looking quite special. Someone here made the observation that maybe we are the Detroit Tigers of the NFL this year. No early expectations but staying strong throughout the season and making noise in the playoffs. Wouldn't that be sweet? BTW being drunk is just fine with me! SFIAH |
Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO
Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |
