I did a search and found nothing, hopefully it's just a rumor...

Seems if that were true the news would have been out early today..

Nope. I asked him, and checked wwltv.com, but didn't see anything. I did see a thread on an LSU/Saints combo board, but they didn't have a link, either.

I dont see where hes out for the season. On KFFL he's listed as doubtful.

New Orleans Saints SS Roman Harper (knee) is doubtful for the team's Week 6 game. FS Omar Stoutmire would replace Harper in the lineup.
