Crowd was great!

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Didn't get home from the game until late last night but I hope it's not to late to commend the crowd at the game yesterday. Everyone was great! We stayed into the game even when things turned South on us ...

Crowd was great!

Didn't get home from the game until late last night but I hope it's not to late to commend the crowd at the game yesterday. Everyone was great! We stayed into the game even when things turned South on us and help the Saints by making noise. Let's keep it up!

The crowd was loud as hell. I heard you all the way in LA.

Did anyone else notice Payton coaching the crowd right before Carneys winning kick? He was trying to quiet the crowd and got mad when they didn't react to his coaching. Way to go coach and crowd!

I'm afraid we didn't notice that. Maybe that wasn't the best time to be loud but we just couldn't shut it off.

Sunday was the first time this season that I could make it in from Houston to see a game in the Dome and I must say that it F-ing Rocked!!!

I have probably been to well over a hundred SAINTS games in the Dome and this one was by far the loudest. The atmosphere was electric, although I am sure it did not come close to the home opener. But it truly was a religous experience.

The crowd was fantastic before, during and after the game. We tailgated from 8:30 til after 5:00 (stopping to go in for the game, of course) and everyone around us was psyched the whole time. Even me after having spent 14 hours partying in Baton Rouge the day before in and around the Death Valley. I can't wait to get back home to the Dome for another game.

In the meantime, all of y'all that get to attend every game need to keep that decible level up and never stop believing. The fans truely ate the 12th man in the Dome.

Go SAINTS!!!!!

I noticed it and laughed. I mentioned it on the chat but he was off the TV screen by that point. He said in his press conference after TB that the crowd needed some work. Maybe they should show him on the big screen to let the fans know what they should be doing.

That might have helped.

I didn't notice either. Didn't matter. I couldn't make any noise with my heart in my throat!

daviddrake2, I think it was actually very close to the MNF game but in a different way. Even though we had already won 4 games, what we all witnessed this Sunday was very special. I now believe there isn't a team in the league that we couldn't beat on any given Sunday. Our schedule suddenly looks much more doable!!

That would be awesome. I doubt the NFL would be too keen on that, tho.
