Article explaining the reasons it wasn't McNabb's fault that he SUCKED on Sunday!

That the build up, the emotion, the win over Dallas, did have an effect on him, and that a letdown is inevitable and only human.
Will anyone take into consideration the fact McNabb spent the day before the New Orleans game getting a tour of the city with the president of Xavier University, and the effect that seeing the city outside of the French Quarter can have on you, even after you give $100,000 to two universities devastated by Katrina?
Or will anyone take into consideration that ever since coach Andy Reid took over this team, the Eagles' record is 5-6 in games immediately after they've played the Cowboys?
My Favorite!

the fact that he got outplayed by Drew Brees -- a QB who shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as him

Agreed. The best thing about that game was keeping him off the field for the last 8:26.

Yeah I agree with Saintfan....Why did they not say that Andy Reid was simply out coached...I have seen coaches reach the NFC Championship not win and get fired...how has he done four times and not been fired?

This is the one that pisses me off the most. What a jackass. McNabb and Brees are both in the top ten in every major passer stat category. Oh, except sacks. Brees has been sacked 6 times and McNabb 15. I think that justifys mentioning lowly Drew Brees in the same breath as the almighty Donavan McNabb.

He got to the Super Bowl and the NFC championship game 4 times. Name another coach other than NE's Bellichek who's done that?

Marv Levey with the Bills, four straight Super Bowl trips, no trophies to show for it.

McNabb played an awesome game. He stayed focus and they came back. But the Saint's didn't give em a chance to win. Their defense and our offense lost them the game.
