defense.... wtf?????
what in the hell happened to the defense today? why in the world did we not have someone spying/mirroring steve mcnair on those 3rd down situations? time, imo, for some danny clark... and why the hell is jason craft on our team? this jackass couldn't cover his own shadow and he totally whiffed on the pick opportunity in the second quarter.... if he's still there next year, i will disown the saints, i swear to god... all week long we heard they'll run the ball all game and then when they went to the pass, it's like we had no idea how to play pass defense.... hey payton, wtf???!!!

The offense cost us this game.

RE: Re: defense.... wtf?????
it was a total team effort suckfest this weekend, not just the offense.... the offense moreso than the defense, but to allow mcnair to sit back there in the pocket and run wild on third down all game, picking up crucial 1st downs when we could have gotten 3 and outs, is very unacceptable.... and why can't we pick off a pass... my grandmother could have picked that one pass in the endzone.... on the brightside, the run defense looked good but again the pass defense got picked apart b/c of the lack of pressure on mcnair...

RE: Re: RE: Re: defense.... wtf?????
the offense should have capitalized on that fumble early on, but when we gave it right back i knew we were in deep crap for the rest of the day.... we looked like retards trying to hump a doorknob on offense during the first couple of drives, but honestly, the defense should have gotten better pressure on mcnair and not only that, should have had shanle or a nickel back up on the line and drop back and spy on mcnair, shadowing his every movement, kinda like we did with vick.... mcnair has been a dual threat for quite a while now, so how did we not see that coming?

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: defense.... wtf?????
no but the fact that atlanta and carolina (after tonight's game vs. dallas) will be tied with us for 1st place and we have to play both of the again and both on the road is a reason to push the panic.... i'm just saying, that it has the feel of the beginning of a monumental slide to out of the playoffs after a 5-1 start.... we'll see, but if today is indicative of what to expect for the remaining games on the schedule, we should get those cry towels ready....
