Even with that, I really don\'t see how you can look past Archie Manning or Ricky Jackson. These two were the cornerstones of their respective teams at the time, and spent the majority of thier career with the Saints. My vote, I\'d have to say Jackson.

Rickey Jackson, up until he decided to purchase a SB ring as a tag along with the 49\'ers.
THE 49\'ers??? Just rip out my friggin heart why don\'t you.

ANYBODY BUT THOSE GUYS!!!!

That evil day, he became my least favorite Saint of all time, a despised traitor. My heart was absolutely crushed. IMO one of the darkest days in sports history. My favorite player of all time, a 49\'er? BETRAYED

He can rot in San Fran as far as I care. He can take that ring and shove it too!

He was truly one of my few hero\'s. Now I place him even below a Pete Rose.

Great, Now I\'ll be mad all day again!

Whether we agree or disagree; its all for Him.

Not even in our division anymore, and I still HATE the 49\'ers !!!!

But let\'s all give a shout out to Dalton Hilliard and Reuben Mayes. I mean as long as we are recount our youth.

All time fav: Mills

Best all time: Manning

Soon to be best all time: McAllister

You are joking, right? I hate the 49ers just as much as the next Saints fan, but even I was happy to see Jackson, who worked his ass off his entire career, get something that he most definately deserved. It wasn\'t about us (the fans), it wasn\'t about the Saints or the 49ers or the rivalry between the two. It was about a lifelong dream come true for one player, who did deserve the ring he recieved, who\'s devotion to the Saints was so deep, that he came back afterwards so he could retire a Saint. Many players dream it, but only a few actually get to experience it.
But, yeah, I\'ll be selfish and say the bastard should rot for fulfilling his dream, by any means necessary. This tinge of sarcasm brought to you by Starbucks- your caffiene injection fix- squashing one grumpy attitude at a time.

The waiting drove me mad....

I couldn\'t agree more B&B, and as much as I\'d have hated to see ATL win a Superbowl I\'d have been just as happy to see Morten Anderson get his ring.

One more thing I\'d like to see is Anderson sign and retire with the Saints like Jackson did so they can go to the Hall as a Saintsin a few years. Is it too late for Mills to re-retire as a Saint?

I like playing my cards wrong.

I like having strong opinions with nothing to back them up with besides my primal sincerity.

I like to complain and do nothing to make things better.

Kurt Cobain rip...

OK I can see my hatred for the 49\'ers may probably be a a little over the top.

I\'ve often daydreamed about 49\'ers getting dismembered by a Saint LB blindsiding them at about mach-5.

I\'ve have actually thought about councelling. But hate re-hab is costly and largle uneffective.

I\'d love to get help, because as many fans here feel about Archie, I used to feel about Rickey.

I would pick either Deuce or Joe Horn.

I\'m with you on the Rickey Jackson thing, B and B. As much as it crushed me to know he was playing with the nemesis. As much as it pained me to see him on the other side of the field from us. As much as i cringed when I saw him in that uniform, I was more than happy when he finally got what he deserved. A Super Bowl ring. This, however, set a precedent for my favorite teams and some of my favorite players. Mark Grace later down the road left the Cubs and won a World Series with Arizona. :casstet:
