Has anyone ever watched a game on a cruise ship?
I'm going on a cruise from the 18th-24th and as we all know the Cincy game is the 19th. I checked with Carnival to make sure that they show NFL games on the ship and they said yes. Has anyone ever watched a game on a cruise? I was wondering if they come on at noon or do I have to wait and watch the game at like 10pm Sunday night? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Stay away from the rails and have fun. No clue about the time and such but I'm pretty sure you could give them a call.

I am on the Carnival Facination on the 12th and will find out if they get the broadcast and what games (teams), if any, they provide. I'll give you feedback upon my return on the 14th.

was not on that line but the ship I was on last year actually recorded the game on the DVR. so you can watch it over and over and over again. hope you have a casino aboard. It may help the first step overboard to be a bit easier.

yea i will be on the carnival fantasy...let me know when you get back and thanks! have fun on your cruise! oh if they do the DVR thing that will be phenomenal. I am guessing the best place to catch the game will be the casino bar...

When you go on a Cruise, you stay on the same time of which you departed. You dont change times every time you enter a new destination. Example
I was on a cruise in March during the NCAA tournament. Though it may have been whatever time in the Cayman Islands, we stayed on ship time, which was Eastern time zone (we left from miami). Thus, you will always be on ship time and the game will be playing at noon (or 1 eastern). I watched LSU beat Duke and Texas on the ship and the games were broadcast rather clear. Every now and then, when we'd hit a rough path it would black out or get fuzzy but for the most part I was able to watch the games in my room or at the sports bar on ship. |
