I Have A Bad Feeling About This
After watching last weeks pathetic performance, I began having flashbacks to the Haslett Era. All of the penalties, turnovers, and just plain dumb mistakes. I'm hoping that this does not creep into the players psyche, because confidence is the key to winning. In most other years, this would be the beginning of the year. I mean, we barely beat Tampa in the Dome, and couple that with all that happened last week, along with the fact that this is a road game, and it's hard to stay optimistic.

I have us losing to Tampa... and the next two afterwards. So... I'm headed in the same direction. But, we will finish the season 9-7 or 10-6 with a good chance of still making the playoffs.

So, Papz, you're saying that we'll be 5-5, and then go 4-2 or possibly 5-1 to finish the season? The last 6 games are @ ATL, SF, @ DAL, WASH, @ NYG, and CAR.

Yup. We'll go in a mini slump then catch fire. Finish out strong, hot, and into the playoffs.
We're going to be playing Pitt and Cincy on the road... two very tough games. The only game I can see us possibly winning is the Tampa game. But from what happened in the first game we played against them, it's going to be close and it could go either way. I'm going to have to go with the home team. Tampa - Toss up... slight edge going to Tampa. Pitt - L Cincy - L Atlanta - Toss up. SF - W Dallas - W Wash - W NY - W Towards the end of the season, I'm pretty sure Washington will have Jason Campbell starting and the Giants will be resting their players for the playoff run. |

Also, don't forget the Ravens have one of the nastiest D's in the entire league, so it's not like we were turning the ball over to the Browns or something. That's not an excuse, but we did lose to a good team. I've got a good feeling about the Bucs game this Sunday. They were pathetic against NYG last week. |

Tampa Bay sucks. We didn't have any knowledge of the QB they started that game. We've played against him and now have a couple of games of film on him. He's not going to hurt us like he did last time. We should win this one.
