Maybe Payton shouldn't talk about fumbling at halftime...

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Based on how the team responded losing the football in the second half, maybe Payton should keep quiet about stressing no turnovers at halftime? It seems like all they did was lose the ball like it was the foremost thing ...

What a shame. It would have been nice to have a two game lead on the Falcons.

6-3 and on top of the division is still respectable.

Maybe they should have spent more time talking about how to contain Willie Parker.

Actually we currently have a 1.5 game lead on the Falcons. We can put them to rest by taking care of them in the Georgia Dome.

The Panthers are closer to us and a bigger problem now. Effectively they are only a 1/2 game behind because of their 21-18 win in Carolina.

Let's work on holding the ball and stopping big plays against Cincy, then everything else will work out.

I'm thinking this way too, but we get them in the Dome next time, and if they don't improve over last night's poo performance we'll beat 'em like nobody's business. We need to worry about beating Cincy and getting our momentum back.

The carolina @ Atlanta is looking to be a big game before Carolina comes to town the following week.
Till then I am cheering for Baltimore and a long falcons injury list for next weeks game.
