Here's the latest from the Superdome.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports Superdome general manager Doug Thornton would like to see the AstroTurf field surface in the Superdome replaced. However, he doesnÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬Ã¢Â„Â¢t have the money to devote to the project and may have to wait until the Superdome undergoes another renovation before it happens. He keeps samples of FieldTurf and AstroPlay, two leading synthetic products, in his office. The new surfaces cost about $1 million to $2 million to install.

Anybody got any spare change?
