Gore is a great RB, but if we key on him, I think a victory is inevitable. Their receivers are adequate, Battle and Bryant, but I believe our secondary should be able to handle them for the most part. Washington is going to be a crap shoot. One week they play great, the next, they look like a Juco team. Dallas will be the toughest by far. They have many big play threats, and as usual, we are in the habit of giving up big plays. That Vick run was ridiculous. Keeping pace with the Panthers, until the last game of the season. How big is that game looking right now?

Was really happy with the play today, Brees is quite a difference back there then Brooks, and love Peyton over Hasslet ANY day.
We gave up alot to Vick today, and that worries me a bit going into a SF game with a monster like Gore. We need to seal up the line a little better off to the sides or Gore will tear us up. Mike Karney is one of the unsung hero's. Killer blocks out of him today, and even a couple key catches to keep things rolling when Brees needed a crutch as the pocket collapased. Henderson is unreal, he needs the ball more, but then again so does Horn, Colston, Duece & Reggie. The offense has so many talented players, and it's good to see the ball spread out like it is. Was glad to see the TE's really into things today, Campbell, Miller, and Conwell, all playing well. I'm still a little worried about Copper. Something just rubs me the wrong way about him. Other then that 1 catch for a TD at the half, what did he do? That one pass should've been picked off, but we got lucky. He should've played CB on that play, and covered it better, but we did get lucky. Will be glad to see Colston back ASAP. |
