I too had the honor of watching the game in Texas with a bunch of loud Cowboy fans. Me, in my white Saints jersey and everyone else in their Cowboy finest. It was loud at first but by halftime I thought I was at a funeral.
GO SAINTS!!!!!!!! |

Among the "Boys" fans in Section 3, Row 14, Seat 104...and watching them leave in the middle of the third quarter...
And the remaining Saints fans chanting: Who Dat! Now that is priceless! |

It was late in the game, and I'd just come to the realization:
"Holy Crap, the Cowboys don't have a chance!" Then I heard it coming through the surround speakers... "who dat, Who Dat, WHO DAT!!" It was quiet at first, but then it grew louder and louder!!! What a great feeling!! |

I invited a couple of my cousins to my house for the game. They were all Cowboy fans and they had never seen a game in Hi-Def. By the time they were ready to go (beginning of the 4th) all I could say was...hey at least you got see what HD football looks like....I'm just sorry you had to see your Cowboys get beat with such clarity. (hee hee....priceless!)

Yea, same here. I live in South Texas, so at my bar, there were Cowgirls fans everywhere. Me sporting my authentic Colston jerseys I just got in, with a sea of white and blue around me. Crap talking was good during the 1st quarter, but after that it got real quiet. I thought for sure I was gunna have my tires slashed. Oh well, it would have been worth it. After the game, i finished my Abita Ale (which I special ordered down here and snuck in the bar, haha!) went home, and hung my jersey in my Black and Gold Game Room. CHeers!!!!

Not that we had so many cowboys at the pub last night, but the fact we have turned so Patriots fans into saints fans as their NFC team. I have forced some to watch the saints for 4 years now. I remember a small table in the back to watch, all along, drowning the looses with pitch after pitcher.
anyhow The few cowboy fans that showed up were surprised to fine 99 % of the pub cheering for the saints. Now that is sweet. Americas team having trouble finding fans outside of Texas. We were good winners and picked up thier tabs as long as they stood up and toasted the butt wipping the saints giving them. A few refused (typical cowgirls). Most we good sports. One actual stayed to the end. The one true cowboys fan that showed up. I respect that. :P |
