this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Man, someone must've lost a pretty penny on that game. Reminds me of that Colombian defender who got shot and killed after the 1994 World Cup by an enraged fan. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2716385...

RE: Denver CB D. Williams shot to death
I know it was New Years Eve and all so there was plenty of people out late last night, but there are to things pro atheletes can do if they want to stay out of trouble. 1) Be home by midnight. Most of these shootings, arrests, or whatever seem to happen in the very early morning. 2) Stay away from clubs and bars. With so many adoring fans you may think that everybody loves you, but there are people out there who don't and a those are a couple of good places to find them.
It's a shame that this type of thing has to happen. I feel for his family and teammates. It's tragic no matter the circumstances. |

What a waste, wrong place at the wrong time as they say, it's unfortunate this happened but let's face it, this happens to someone everyday of the year.

This is just plain bad! Whoever did this is a disgrace to the human race. There's no reason for it. Find the idiot that did it, strip him naked, stake him over an ant hill and pour honey on him. Let the ants take care of him.

I'm not a rich guy Joe but I'll give you the funds I have available to go towards your campaign.
Our laws are often not tough enough to stop or even slow down crime, remember the young kid who received a caning in Singapore a few years ago for the graffiti that he was guilty of? I never heard nothing from this kid since the caning, why?, he knows better to break the law now. |
