I think he's the key to the Saints' success in the playoffs. Not just because of the attention he draws, but because with Joe back, ANY player they match up on Reggie will be outmatched. God help the team that puts a LBer on Bush.

Yes, like spkb25 said the attention he gets is the biggest factor and the most unnoticed.

Reggie has found his legs without a doubt. Asking if Reggie will be a factor in the playoffs is an odd question with an obvious answer. Have these people not being paying attention? I mean what lame brain could honestly think Reggie would not be a factor.

Brees, Duece, Horn, Colston, Reggie, Karney, and Devery, with all these potential play makers they will be driving defensive coordinators crazy. Not to mention Beerman and Gleason on special teams being potential big play makers.

i like the fact that he still has fresh legs.....splitting carries with deuce the entire year i think will end up being huge. they thought he was fast before??? defenses are wearing down this time of year and hes still gonna be lightning quick.

i know we've been a passing team all year, but i expect big things from our RBs during the playoff run.

That almost goes unsaid... considering he comes out in the slot and in the back feild... he is the best "decoy" in the league... (thats when hes not touching the ball of course)

That's the most obvious question to ask about the Saints. Of course, with Horn coming back and the firepower that we already have it's pretty tough trying to stick all these big playmakers.

Noticing that Bush is becoming a runner now, not worrying about sprinting off, or juking five yards behind the scrimmage. He's beginning to be more visual and watch Deuce more which will kill teams. If he gets into the openfield off a run, they might as well go to the sidelines.

10. Which rookie running back will have the biggest impact in the playoffs?

Reggie Bush, Joseph Addai, Laurence Maroney, and Leon Washington have all been huge for their teams, but Bush has separated from the pack late in the season. Addai led all rookies with 1,081 rushing yards. Maroney rushed for 745 yards and averaged 28 yards per kickoff return. Washington ran for 650 yards and broke a screen pass for 64 yards to beat the Dolphins in Week 16. Bush made a minimal impact early in the season, but he blew through the rookie wall, exploding for seven touchdowns in the final five weeks. He finished with 1,307 yards from scrimmage and looks like the once-in-a-generation player he was advertised as. With global warming minimizing the Bears' home-field advantage, look for Bush and the Saints to march into the Super Bowl.
From Foxsports.com, which is probably the one site that's never really hyped the Saints aside from Bradshaw's musings.
