The meaning of MVP

I could have sworn that MVP meant most valuable person!! Don't get me wrong. I know LT is very deserving, but, Brees should have been MVP.

Here's why!! LT goes down, he has a backup that would be a starter on a lot of teams. NOW. If Brees goes down we have Jaimie Martin as our backup. He didn't look to good against Carolina!! Which of these scenarios would be worse. Which person would be more valuable to their team. Which team would be worse off without their player.

How many times has LT's record been broken in the last nine or ten years.
At least five!!! In my opinion, we'd be more ****** if we lost Brees than if they lost LT.

EITHER WAY, BREES IS MVP IN MY BOOK. I'D LOVE TO SEE HIM WIN ANOTHER MVP, THE SUPERBOWL MVP. WHO DAT!!!

And for those that say we can't beat Philly, they don't know ****[/u]

WHO DAT!! WE DAT BABY!!!

AMEN BROTHER!!! Exactly what I've been saying. Glad to know I'm not the only one who felt that way. Now let's see if Payton gets COY. After Pennington won, I'm betting it's Mangina, and yes, I meant to spell it that way.

BTW folks, LT feels the same way. A near quote from an interview yesterday:

If Drew Brees wasn't on the Saints, they probably would have only won 3 games this year - LT
Funny that LT would not have voted from himself.

Shows the class act, that LT is. I'm happy for LT, he's a great person, and player. Humble, and respectful. Very hard to find these days. BUT, I think Brees should have won it.
