The only difference I see at this point is the salary cap that Duece carries.
I love Duece but this is one of the only times in the recent past I can remember him being healthy the whole year. I think he could be replaced with a rookie to do the job asked of his role. But not a the cap hit price.... It would have to be one hell of a trade. |

I think that the person who started this thread is full of bull. As much as I surf the net, I've never run across anything that even remotely suggest that Deuce is going to get traded. Maybe one day it will happen, but not now. I hope you all know that the originator of this thread is pulling your leg.

Matthew, I didn't start this thread, but I know where the info came from. Go to foxsports.com, then go to New Orleans Saints team page, then look at fantasy news on the bottom left had corner of the page. It states the following:
"Deuce McAllister - #26 - Running back - 6'1" - 232lbs News: Deuce McAllister will reportedly be available in offseason trade talks. Impact: We're not sure why New Orleans would want to get rid of him; Reggie Bush finished the regular season strong but benefits from McAllister taking inside carries. McAllister would likely command at least a second-round pick as compensation. (Thu. Jan 4, 2007)" Heres the link: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/team?statsId=18 Just so you know that the person who started this thread isn't pulling anyone's leg. |

its a load of crap, i dont see him going anywhere. i see him redoing his deal before leaving. 1) hes a team player, 2) hes too close to home to leave and 3) hes smart enough to realize hes in a perfect situation to play for many many years on a solid team. If deuce cared that much about money he wouldnt have donated a million to his college.

Is the story of this link accurate?, I sure hope it's not but I won't worry about that right now because the Saints are in the playoffs and could make it to the Super Bowl. |

Now if the Steelers can keep Staley and the Bus for so long why can't we? This is one of those new coach moves and as you can tell from the season Reggie is Payton's love child, but the most memorable moment was when Bush fumbled against the Ravens Payton was like good job! and yelled it at Reggie....but seriously chucky can't leave and we need Deuce he's a work horse!
