RE: seattle or bust
As I said on another thread, whoever plays the Saints better score at least 30 points to beat us.
Last night the Hawks scored only 23 points, Saints have the weapons on offense to score 23 points in the first half alone. J. Jones had some success against the Seahawks defense last night, I wonder how well Deuce and Bush will do if we play the Seahawks. Bottom line: With Horn and Hollis back in the lineup and the team rested & healthy I think they have a great chance in getting to the NFC Championship and beyond. I don't really care who we play because the Saints are playing well and have a great chance in beating any team in the NFC playoffs. |
Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

the Hawks only scored 21. It was an ugly 21 at that. No way does the game be tight or a squeeker at the end. If we play the Hawks or if the Bears play them it will be an easy win. I know I am counting my chickens before the eggs hatch, but that is my gut feeling.

You gotta go with the hawks... They played like garbage. We could likely beat em and still rest our starters!! ha ha... Eagles are wayyyy more of threat that needs to be taken seriously

RE: seattle or bust
It'd be a small miracle if the Giants beat the Eagles, not because the Eagles are that good, but because the Giants are that bad a team. It's Philly next week in the Dome, with Seattle going to Chicago. The one thing is, the Seahawks defense is good enough to rattle Grossman.

Another thing to think about is if The Giants win they have to go to Chicago. UUhhh that equals a bear win wich means that they will be in the conference championship!

Well, the speculation is over, it's Philly, and that is that. We beat em once already, and Garcia, or no Garcia, we can beat em again. Philly struggled against the Giants last nite, and very well could have lost the game. Is it a lock for us to win? No. Absolutely not. They are still a tough defense to play. This will be a true test of our team, and the success they have achieved this year. The next two games if we get that far actually. The trick is we all have to believe that this is for real. That our team got here, because they are "that good". I can't be at the dome on Saturday, but everyone that is going to be there, please represent all of us Saints fans worldwide, and scream till you can't scream no more. This could be the game, that is remembered as a catalyst for many great seasons to come.

This link is a play-by-play re-cap of the Eagles@Saints contest back in Oct. 15 of this season. I actually think our defense is better now, and our offense is more fine tuned. Add that together with the loudest arena in the NFL.....
