As far as Reid is concerned, only one fourth down and fifteen was succesfuly converted in the NFL all season. He had two minutes. He had timeouts. He had a good defense. If your D can't suck it up and play three more downs, then you don't deserve to win.

My point is you have to give some safety help. Fred Thomas is still there because he's the best we have. I'm just surprised that they don't give him safety help more consistently. They do both suck, but MM at least makes the tackle after he gets burned.

And Reid made a bad decision. He was willing to go for it on 4th and 26 a couple of years ago. Not only that, but he was willing to go for it on 4th and 10 but not 4th and 15? Instead you give it to your D knowing that Deuce had been rushing for an average of over 5 yards? They hadn't been stopping him all game they weren't going to do it then. I breathed a sigh of relief when he punted it. I knew we had the game won and I'm glad he did it. But it was a bad decision on his part.
