how many of you knew payton played against the saints?
While he was a decent quarterback in high school in suburban Chicago and in college at Eastern Illinois, he never amounted to much as a pro. Payton appeared in three games as a replacement player for the Bears during the 1987 players strike.
In his NFL debut, he was 5-of-11 for 51 yards and was sacked four times. His last appearance came in a 19-17 loss to the Saints. He was 3-of-11 for 28 yards, his last pass an interception. http://www.nola.com/sportsflash/sain...orylist=saints |

I did. Saw it on ESPN News today. He played for the scab team and his last throw was an INT against the Saints. (I really did see that on ESPN News today) Man it's really cold tonight in New Orleans.
