This weekend's win over Philadelphia provided a great example of the new Deuce McAllister. His success rate against the Eagles was an astonishing 86%. Twelve of his 21 carries gained at least five yards. Every carry but one had positive yardage, and three of the shorter carries were enough for a new set of downs. In total, McAllister had eight first downs and a touchdown.

foolishly, it seemed to me they were way to fixated on Reggie. Anything that Reggie carried almost ended up stymied. It is definitely not to discredit either Reggie or Deuce. It is my impression also that the Philly D underestimates the strength and drive Deuce has. But kudos to Deuce for bringing his lunch box and coming to work. A repeat performance is welcome. such a convenience to have quality players willing to cooperate.

IMO, Duece looked better than usual last Saturday. He seemed to be a little more explsosive, hitting the wholes with more power and speed than I have seen all season. Great time for Duece to be playing at his best. His determination on that touchdown run where he pretty much carried 11 guys into the endzone with him from 5 yards out was great to see from a Saints player.
