I have to agree with Gambler on this one. Even though I have been doing the same thing to a certain degree, we gotta win this one first. Looking through the Bears is not a smart idea at all. I know we've never been here before, but let's act like we have anyway, and keep focus on the game today.

You flat out said "when we get to the Super Bowl" in a prior thread......I don't call that "doing it to a certain degree". For the record, this is nothing personal against you, as I do not know you and as best as I can recall, have never had any major conflicts with you. This is EXACTLY why I told everybody not to say this kind of bullcrap. It was bad enough that 90 percent of the experts seemed to pick the Saints, but God forbid when somebody like Ditka or Keyshawn predicts the Bears to win, they are labeled as "idiots" or "whiners". Let me repeat it since obviously it didn't sink in to some of you before this game......THE OPPONENT OF THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS IN THIS GAME WAS 13-3 IN THE REGULAR SEASON. Don't tell me anything about a weak schedule either, if you go 13-3, you obviously know how to play football. And this 13-3 team was at HOME. They were the NUMBER 1 SEED IN THE CONFERENCE. I can not begin to imagine why some of you did not seem to even fathom the concept that the Bears could win this game. Believe me, this is one time where I really wish I didn't have to say I told you so. But even after the finality of it all sank in........i still told those next to me "i am damn proud of this team". It was one hell of a run, and they have a very young , talented nucleus. Here's to hoping next year's NFC championship game is in New Orleans. ::Tips Hat to the Saints:: |
