do not back on Samuel gang. Pats have struggled with CB for the past 5 years. Keeping them healthy is the big problem. I think he is on board with the Pats way of thinking. He has given all the signs of wanting to stay a Pat.
Just remember Stinch is also a free agent this year. So a RT maybe high on the list. Some team will offer good money to him, that i am sure of. So signing a FA or drafting a tackle, be they left or right, might be on the shopping list too. |

`I know we need a CB because Fred Toast sucks. but maybe our secondary sucks because we can never play zone. We always need to put our safetys in the box to help stop the run, maybe we need a run stopping Middle LB more so we can get out of man to man all the time. Take a look at the bears they play alot of zone.

F.T. doesnt suck, he is a solid nickle corner but he gets burned by trying to play press coverage and then doesnt recover from the double move... it also would help if bullocks would give him some help over the top but he is usually slow to react and is out of position... F.T. shouldnt get all the blame.. bullocks shoulda been there to help... on the berrian crazy TD catch.. bullocks was 5 yards away from where berrian was and didnt look like he was even trying to get there to make a play
as for F.A's i like clement from buffalo... he is pretty solid and would give us a very strong secondary plus i like the addition of a rookie as well... maybe the Thorpe award winner Aaron Ross from TX longhorns.. he is pretty good and the longhorns have done a good job putting out NFL caliber Corners and safetys the past few years |

I watched that ILB from Ole Miss play the last few years. I think he is going to be a formitable player in the NFL. I also think, that not alot of people know who he is, so there's a good chance he's going to be around at the end of the first round. I like Fujita, and Simoneou, but either a run stuffing MLB, or ILB would be a major pick up in F.A. or in the draft.

I think we should try to get a CB via FA, & resign Grant if we can afford it.

id also like to see an upgrade at middle linebacker... danny clark was supposed to be the "guy" but hasnt lived up to his billing i guess... he makes some plays on special teams but couldnt beat out simoneau i guess... if willis is there when we pick.. he would be super hard to pass up... being the best LB in the SEC for 2 years is hard to do...

I would hate to see Grant leave. I've always liked him and I think he's enjoyed playing for Payton, he's been a force all season and I don't think Ninkovich is ready to be a full time starter. Add to that we don't have a ton of depth at DE and were platooning alot of tweener DT's like Lake, Whitehead, etc. in the rotation. I see us shelling out the money to keep him and I don't see him being too greedy.
