DT Terdell Sands UFA Oakland Raiders 6-7 335 26
Now here is a massive man to throw around. He had 41 tackles 3 pass def an int and 1 sack last year in spot duty.

ESPN scouts:

Sands is a backup nose tackle who has a good combination of size and strength. He is a run stopper who can fill the A-gap and come in and give you quality reps. He does a good job of holding the point of attack on double teams and keeping offensive lineman from getting to the second level. He is hard to knock off the ball and he does a decent job of getting penetration in the A-gap. He has a good work ethic, plays with a good motor and will make some plays with second effort. However, Sands has very average athletic ability. He is not a very good technique player. He lacks explosion off the ball, he plays too high and he does not use his hands to shed blocker quickly. He does not have good change of direction skills, he lacks flexibility in his hips and he can not redirect down the line of scrimmage. He has difficulty keeping leverage, he has poor leg drive and he can not push pocket as a bull rusher. He has not developed a variety of pass rush moves. Overall, Sands needs to work on his fundamentals and techniques. He needs to improve on his consistency. He does not make a lot of plays and he does not excite you. He lacks the ability to be an every down player and he is nothing more than a back-up at this time.

Could be a bargin. passing down specialist and with coaching could develope into something very servicable.

Asante Samuel wants "Champ Bailey" money. Clements is just as good if not better but plays for an unheralded Bills team. I say go all out for Clements. He is a legit #1 shut down corner. He's also strong as an Ox & & a sure tackler. Show him the money Mickey!!!!!!!!

We can address LB, DT, & TE in the draft. This year's draft is strong at those positions but very weak at CB.

Gaze into the Crytal Ball and give me a 6th or 7th round Marquese Colston corner back in the draft.

Maybe we should trade down with all our picks for like 26 7th round picks...?

This would not be a bad addition at a mid level price.

I am going with David Jones Wingate (cb/kr) 6-0, 195, 4.48 to 4.58
