Thanks for getting that pick for me Hagan. It worked out good. I lost my #1 choice to the Jags, but Tank will be great.

I know I an not in the draft or anything, but it does interest me. Was there an explanation on the Packers pick, Hall?

Bobaganoosh 02-16-2007 10:20 PM

Why would the redskins draft Quinn when they invested so much into jason campbell?

16 Green Bay Packers - Leon Hall, CB, 5'11", 193 lbs, 4.50, Michigan
The Packers have two guys over 30 starting at cornerback, and one of them isn’t happy with his contract. Not to mention, finishing near the bottom of the league, in pass defense. This would be a great start, to building a play off ready defense, considering, for the most part, the defensive side of the ball has been what's keeping them out of it.
Hall is physical enough to play with the big receivers, yet quick and able enough to cover the quick receivers. Excels in zone coverage, and is very good at man-to-man. He's a smart and very fluid athlete without a major hole in his game. Hall can come up and support the run well and is an excellent blizter. Being paired up with Walt Harris, should make the Packers, a more formidable defensive secondary.

i am assuming you mean Al Harris...not Walt Harris...and speaking of Al Harris, if he is the unhappy one you are referring to, he signed an extension a few days back. this pick is obviously made on the assumption they resign Ahman Green. they easily could go RB, DT, S, WR before going CB in this draft.

Boogro 02-16-2007 10:32 PM

I was just wondering, Woodson and Harris are suitable and if they sign a RB like Rhodes, I could see them going D. As of right now, Lynch would be a good pick up to get that running game going
