I did my research folks. Two out of the three mocks I confirmed with, agreed with me, on CB, being their pick. Not Hall, because they had him going way before the 16th pick, but a CB either way. Now, I did mean Al Harris, which I put in an immediate follow up post, and he didn't resign till after I made that pick, but I still would have made it, considering that Woodson, has not been the same player since leaving Oakland. I stand by my pick.

We traded Campbell to the Ravens after that pick for their second and fifth round picks this year.

20 New York Giants - Reggie Nelson S 6'1 193 Florida
Reggie Nelson is an attacking safety with big time playmaking ability. He flies around the football field and is aggressive in every facet of the game. Nelson is tough and plays bigger than his wiry frame indicates. He delivers big hits and isn’t afraid to lend help in support. Nelson’s biggest impact comes with his ability to make plays on the football. He has a nose for the ball, and really goes after the ball when it is in the air. He is a great athlete and shows the speed to run plays down and keep up down the field in coverage. The Gaints now have the play maker at S that they have not had for years.

Allsaints is in the house. lets get it moving

Allsaints has left the house and no responce to PM so here is the pick

21. Denver Broncos - Adam Carriker, DE, 6-6, 295, 4.88, Nebraska
Mike Shanahan is still trying to make his line of ex-Browns work, but it's just not happening. Having a liability like that up front puts undue pressure on what are very good linebacking and secondary corps. While the addition of Elvis Dumervil provided an unexpected boost in situational pass rushing, Denver needs a talented athlete to provide pressure every down.Carriker has an impressive combination of size, strength and agility which allows him to apply pressure to the quarterback, while taking on multiple blockers. He added more than 10 pounds of muscle to his 6-6 frame increasing his weight to 295 pounds. While adding the weight, Carriker improved his 10 and 40-yard dash times. His stature could allow Carriker to move inside to tackle on passing downs if needed. Has an incredible motor. Used Mobile and the Senior Bowl to show he isn't a one-dimensional or one-set (3-4) player. Denver needs to get younger along the edges and finding a large prospect like Carriker is a steal

Baltimore Ravens Trades thier #2 and #5 to Washington for Jason Campbell. Brady Quinn makes him available and Baltimore now has the backup for McNair to mentor. McNair will be 34 in 2007

we need to start making our picks.

22 Dallas Cowboys - Michael Griffin, S, 5-11, 195, 4.48
Griffin is a prototypical NFL cover safety. He has excellent ball skills for the position and good recovery speed with good leaping ability, allowing him to make plays on the ball in deep coverage. Taking the correct path to the ball carrier, allows him to play faster than his timed speed and he is a solid, willing tackler. With above-average agility and acceleration for a free safety allows him the ability to cover slot receivers in man-to-man. Add to this is an excellent special teams player, showing the same quality of play at safety and combine that with fantastic timing and instincts, you have numerous blocked punts.
