I understand that we are all busy with work and other stuff, but shouldn't we have a time limit of some sorts

Hmm... lets give it a couple of hours and see how it goes. Anyone who want to participate interested in making this pick if bulldog doesn't show up?

branch is actually considered the best DT in the draft, making this a curious pick over a DE like Jamaal Anderson or Gaines Adams. but, i guess they could use some youth at any position on defense.

Unlike any other mocks... it's the B&G mock!!! 8)
Well they did lose Booger McFarland and are very thin at DT... so I could definately see them taking him. They definately need a run stuffer especially with the backs in our division. Good pick. So far... 1. Oakland Raiders - Joe Thomas, OT Wisconsin 2. Houston Texans - JaMarcus Russell, QB LSU 3. Cleveland Browns - Calvin Johnson, WR Georgia Tech 4. Tampa Bay Bucs - Alan Branch, DT Michigan Now on the clock with the 5th pick of the NFL draft... the Arizona Cardinals. |

well tampa really needs help on d... If thomas or calvin johnson were available they would have been the logical picks. but yeah tampa is hurting on defense and branch is a versatile lineman that would have and impact immediately. so he was the only logical choice since i don't think they need to take a quarterback since they have simms, gradkowski, and rattay. a safety would be nice, but it's a little too high for landry.
